Last Friday night my best friend and I ventured out to spend the evening at a local auction. We were a bit apprehensive in the beginning, but after the first win, it was quite addictive! As you can see above, I didn't bring back lots of things, but they're all really neat. Best of all...I only paid $22 for all of it! The guys there had a plethora of great rusty things. It was SO hard not to throw my number up for every other item that was up for bid. I wish I had a better picture of the quilt top, because this does NOT do it justice. It has lots of really small squares and patches, and was only $2! Towards the end of the auction, I won the two flower frogs and jar as a lot for also only $2! I paid $15 for the stool, which was higher than I had planned to go, but I loved the green color and had gotten such a deal on everything else, I couldn't resist! My friend got a great wooden ironing board (for only 10 buckaroos) that she plans to use a sofa table behind her couch. Good junk, good prices, and good fried food...I'll def be back for more!
